JIKIDEN REIKI TRAINING SEMINARS

PREREQUISITES FOR PARTICIPATION IN JIKIDEN REIKI SEMINARS

Jikiden Reiki training seminars are open to anyone who desires to learn authentic Japanese Reiki. There are no prerequisites to enroll in the full Jikiden Reiki seminar, or just the shoden portion of the seminar. However, if you are looking to study ONLY the okuden portion of the seminar, you MUST have first learned the shoden level of Jikiden Reiki with Jotaro or another authorized teacher. Those with previous experience in other styles of Reiki, MUST first study the shoden level of Jikiden Reiki before being allowed to study the okuden level. Jotaro and the Institute both respect and honor your previous experience and knowledge, but this is required in effort to maintain a consistency of the Jikiden Reiki teachings. Those who desire to participate in this workshop with Jotaro that are under the age of 18 must first obtain written consent from their parent or legal guardian. Please contact Jotaro to obtain the required consent form

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN DURING THE SEMINAR?

The Jikiden Reiki training seminars that are taught at Reiki with Jotaro are conducted in the same way as the seminars taught at the Institute in Kyoto Japan.

As a Jikiden Reiki Shihan, Jotaro is authorized to teach the shoden (first teachings) and okuden (inner teachings) levels of Jikiden Reiki. He does so by holding quarterly seminars through out the year.

Our training seminars present both the shoden and okuden levels together, just as was done by Chujiro Hayashi and is continued to today by the Jikiden Reiki Institute. Seminar participants are encouraged to study the content of the full seminar, but are also free to study at their own pace by taking the levels individually if they choose to do so.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A JIKIDEN REIKI SEMINAR

Our training seminars are scheduled for the span of two and a half days. The shoden level is covered on Friday evening 5pm to 9pm and Saturday starting at 10am to 6pm. The okuden level is covered on Sunday 10am to 6pm. During the seminar, we will take several breaks and on Saturday and Sunday we will break for lunch, usually around 1:30pm (for 1 hour) to avoid the lunch rush if attendees wish to go to nearby restaurants.

The seminar will begin with brief introductions. Over the span of the three days we will cover the seminar curriculum and also have opportunities for asking questions as we go along. There will be plenty of time spent with 'hands-on' practice of what is being learned.
