Jikiden Reiki® Shinpiden (Teacher Levels)

Jikiden Reiki Shinpiden 神秘傳 Level Structure

Traditionally in Reiki, the teacher level is called Shinpiden 神秘傳 (mystery teachings). In the days of Usui and Hayashi, to become a teacher was not a simple process. Students had to meet certain requirements before they would be allowed to move on to the next level. This is the manner in which it was done by both Usui sensei and Hayashi sensei. This way of progression allows for the development of competent teachers who are well versed and experienced in the materials they teach. In Jikiden Reiki, we also follow this traditional structure. Jikiden Reiki teachers are required to display competence and commitment. As they meet certain levels of experience, they are allowed to take on more responsibilities as teachers.

The Three Jikiden Reiki Teacher Levels Are -

Shihan-Kaku 師範格 (assistant teacher)

Shihan  師範 (teacher)

Dai-Shihan 大師範 (senior teacher)

There are many Dai-Shihan teachers around the World who can teach the Shihan-kaku level of Jikiden Reiki. Currently, Jikiden Reiki seminars for the levels above Shihan-kaku are only taught by:

Frank Arjava Petter (Daihyo-daiko - Vice Representative of the Jikiden Reiki Institute). He teaches - Shoden, Okuden, Shihan-kaku and Shihan level seminars.

Tadao Yamaguchi (Daihyo - Representative of the Jikiden Reiki Institute). He teaches all levels of Jikiden Reiki, including awarding the Dai-Shihan level.

As a Jikiden Reiki Shihan, I am authorized to teach the Shoden and the Okuden level seminars. I am not able to teach any of the teacher levels in Jikiden Reiki. If you have any questions about this or need help in locating a teacher level seminar, please feel free to contact me at: reikiwithjotaro@gmail.com.
