Learn Jikiden Reiki and experience authentic Japanese Reiki in the original form - simple, pure and unaltered.

Our Jikiden Reiki seminars are fully authorized by the Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai (Institute) and follow the same curricculum and high standards as the training seminars taught in Japan. The Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai is currently the only known source for the original Reiki, as taught and practiced by Chujiro Hayashi in the 1930s.

Reiki with Jotaro training seminars place a focus on presenting a clear explanation of the seminar materials along with an examination of the important cultural underpinnings of traditional Reiki practice. Jotaro strongly believes in the proper transmission of Jikiden Reiki teachings are the best way in which to preserve the legacy of Chiyoko Yamaguchi, the founder of Jikiden Reiki.

Jikiden Reiki is a traditional approach to Reiki practice. As such, it is free from the alterations that have been made to the more modern styles of Reiki that a prevelant today. The Jikiden Reiki Institute preserves the original teachings of Chujiro Hayashi and oversees the manner in which Jikiden Reiki training seminars are conducted. This ensures that the teachings of Jikiden Reiki stay pure and that it continues to be passed down in the original unaltered form.

Since so much emphasis is placed on the proper transmission of Jikiden Reiki, you will find that the subtle cultural underpinnings of Reiki are still intact. This connection to the Japanese culture is lost, or greatly deminished, in most modern styles of Reiki. Understanding of the culture from which Reiki comes from adds a lot of clarity to the teachings.

Jotaro is extremely dedicated to his practice of Jikiden Reiki. He frequently attends Jikiden Reiki seminars in order to review the seminar contents in an effort to ensure that what he is passing on is correct and consistent with Institute standards. As an authorized training branch for learning Jikiden Reiki, our seminar participants have a direct connection with the Institute. This connection allows for them to experience the teachings of Jikiden Reiki in the same manner as the seminars taught by Tadao Yamaguchi and Frank Arjava Petter.

Another reason to study with us is that Jotaro has a pretty solid understanding of Japanese culture. This helps him to clearly explain the teachings and techniques taught in a Jikiden Reiki seminar. He strongly believes that by understanding the culture from where it came, we can practice Reiki easier and have a better knowledge of what we are doing.

As a Jikiden Reiki Shihan (full teacher), Jotaro is authorized to teach the full seminar in Jikiden Reiki. Usually, these full seminars are scheduled quarterly on the first weekend of the month. A full seminar is scheduled for two and a half days and presents both the shoden and the  okuden levels together in the same way as it is done by the Institute in Japan. Participants are free to register for each level independently, but it is viewed as best to study the full seminar. To attend a seminar, please view our event schedule and choose one of the available seminar dates. If a scheduled date does not fit into your life schedule, please consider the option of private training with Jotaro. If you have any questions about Jikiden Reiki training or about Jikiden Reiki in general, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and ask.
